define flow

so whats the actual flow speed of moving water for corals, I hear low medium and moderate... well im a little confused on this. how do I tell the difference? at what speed :director:

Flow is something that changes constantly in the ocean. Low flow for example wont move sand around but will move the corals slowly.
Medium Flow will kick the sand around a little bit and sway the corals.
High flow will move sand and create ripples in the top of your tank.
Different corals need different flow.
