Deltec NF90 Sulfur Denitrator

I recently got a Deltec NF90 Sulfur Denitrator.

Was hoping someone can give a recommendation for a decent pump (preferably controlled DC) to use for this?
I currently filled it with NPX Bioplastics and then hooked it up to a JEREPET 520GPH DC pump.

However it does not to be strong enough to stir up the bioplastics at all.

The hoses that come with the NF90 are 5mm ID, which is quite small. So i had to 3D print a fitting for the pump. Because i dont know of a pump that comes with this size attachment.

Is that strong enough to give it that sort of lava flow they say is best?
Thats a doser yes? Could it really be strong enough?

I honestly don't know. This is my first time using this deltek reactor, or any Sulfur Denitrator for that matter :)

Yes it's strong enough. I'm at 22mlm to keep no3 <5 in my 150.

I don't know what lava movement is but you don't want the sulfer to move just pull water through it.
The bones keep it in place.

Do you know about how long it took for it to mature enough to control the no3?

I read somewhere the movement was an indication of the amount of flow that was recommended, so it wont smell like rotten eggs, but still work.

The Kamoer moves enough water.
20mlm moves over 7 gallons a day through the unit.

Yes continuous drip at 24mlm.
I ran it for 8-9 months and took it offline around 3 weeks ago.
I was targeting <5 and it held that easily.
My issue was low ph at night, 7.5.
Effluent was 6.7 and my carx was 6.5.
I run a Kamoer on my carx. It's been running for 1.5 years with no issues. Just replace the tubing every 6-8 months.
I now use the Kamoer for dosing kalk 24/7. Slow drip at 2mlm.
I also run 6 kamoer x1's to dose 2 part on 3 other systems. Very reliable pumps, imo.

Ph was 7.5 low at night now 7.9.
High got a bump from 8.1-8.2.
No3 was 11 on the first so no3 has risen and I plan to keep it between 5-15 for now.
Carx has been turned down 50% so that helps ph.
