I picked some fantastic dendros from unique corals. I have them in med flow under 150 Radiums They are out when my t5's come on but go in when the MH comes on. Any recommendations for tank placement.

Post pics. They could be a sun coral, which are nocturnal. If you are sure that they are dendros, you may need to feed them while the halides are on to make them open during the day.

Mine were doing bad when I got them now they are doing great give them some time but when they are open feed the hell out of them for the first couple weeks to make them happy again :) Thats what I did now there open all the time and are growing babies. FYI sun coral polyps = size of a dime vs. Dendro polyps = size of a quarter

If you want the dendros to grow at all, you need to feed every day or every other day. If you feed them once per week like some people do, you will never get any significant growth out of them.

They'll get used to the lights eventually. Just keep feeding them daily. Once they are healthy, you can feed once or twice a week, although you'll lose growth.

I saw the picture on uc website. They are dendros. Just feed them daily when the lights are on. They also like good flow.
