I’m planning my next built. It will be 350-400 gal display with a separate room for the life support system. Since the sump, all reactors and filters will be in a separate room, I want it to be a show piece. for those who have done this, is it still show worthy after several months in operation?
I’m not interested in spending money for a great looking system that is just going to look like crap in six months.
what is your experience here?

Not mine, but the guy I purchased my 60 cube from had this setup for about six months and this is what it looked like. Can definately still be a show piece after running a while.

All depends on how much maintenance you want to put into keeping it clean :-) You can keep it looking like the day you installed it if you put in the time.
