Today I went to setup my replacement tank and found this Florida from BRS is also defective. It is missing one of it's acrylic feet. The seams are good, but it's unusable because it isn't stable or level. Really frustrating considering the cost of these little tanks that the QC is so bad. Two unusable tanks in a row is a problem. I want to build with a Florida still because I've already ordered a custom Kraken Reef lid for one. Is there a way to get one inspected before it is shipped out to make sure it isn't defective. Good seems and welds? All of the feet? Usable? Two defective tanks in a row is really a lot....

Just wanted to add here for anyone reading this in the future, Eshopps reached out to me and did a great job of resolving the issue. Great people to work with, and handled things very well. These really are beautiful little tanks.

I setup the deskmate and love it. Have it fishless cycling at the moment. Been running for about 3 week but the pump rattles. I readjusted it to make sure it doesn't hit the sides of the chamber but no luck. Any suggestions?
@ESHOPPS.INC

I don't remember seeing a response to my question above. The pump is still rattling pretty good. I've tried lowering the flow and opening it all the way will no luck. Any suggestions?

Has anyone drilled the deskmake so it can be added to an existing sump? Looking to make this tank part on my system as a nems tank.

Are there any tips to lowering temperature? Currently the tank is not in direct sunset and light is only run for a few hours at night as it is currently a fish only display. Tank has plenty of surface agitation. I have an evaporation lid on it but that is the only thing I can think of that may be making the tank run warmer.

Try replacing the lid with mesh screen. If not, install a small fan and put on top of filter sock chamber. That is what I do to mine during the summer heat.

@ESHOPPS.INC do the new classic tanks come with the upgraded Sicce MicraPlus pumps?

The side of the box says Circa 100 Return Pump, but inside the box has a Sicce MicraPlus... now I have 2 Sicce MicraPlus pumps bc I also bought one from @Bulk Reef Supply as an upgrade based on everyone's posts on here... and now I need to pay $10 return shipping bc it wasn't advertised as coming with it

I believe it is half inch. I suggest, upgrading to the @Vivid Creative Aquatics RFG nozzles for Deskmate. Since you are already buying a nozzle. 😉
@ESHOPPS.INC what's the return tubing size. Was cleaning my return pump and nozzle the other day and noticed the top of the tubing had split where it connects to the return nozzle fitting.

Thanks!

@ESHOPPS.INC Is there a reason why the BioCup Nano fits my Deskmate Mariana perfectly but all the 2.75” filter socks are super tight and almost seem too large? SaltwaterAquarium.com says the BioCup Nano is 2.36” in diameter. Are there different generation of the Deskmate with different filter sock sizes?
