I have been doing aquariums since I was 9 years old. It was all freshwater until I was in my 20's. I had a 55-gallon FOWLR for about 10 years. I then did a 35-gallon reef cube for about 5 years, until I didn't have time for it because of my kids. I've been completely out of the industry for the past 10 years and now getting back into it. Super excited about it.
Due to a career move by an in-law, I was able to get a heavily discounted 6-month old Eshopps Mariner M70. All of the plumbing was cut out of the bottom, so I need to rebuild that myself. I had a few setbacks, but the customer support that I experienced with Eshopps (which made me a 100% product supporter for life) I also bought an Eshopps Deskmate! That company and its employees are the best I've come across in years! Truly!!
My current progress, with more to come...

Here's a couple of progress pics. The first was taken without the orange filter thing and the second one with the filter. I'll take pics of the sump in a few days. I want to get some cable management done down there, as it's currently a mess! I built the rockscape with marco dry rock. Most of it has been cycling, with the gravel, in a 35-gallon tote, in my guest bathroom. It's been there for like 2 months. It's been filled for a week and the ammonia has already dropped to zero, so the preparation worked pretty well. Current residents are only 8 hermits. I fed them some frozen mysis shrimp today and they went nuts! More to come...

Oh, the Deskmate has a yellow watchman goby and a purple-claw pistol shrimp (which is a beautiful creature). I'll probably never be able to send pics of them, as they stay pretty hidden. I'll likely end up moving them to the M70 after it's been up and running for like 6 weeks.
Here's a really bad, out-of-focus pic of the pistol shrimp, but it gives you an idea of his look.

My experience with Eshopp's customer service has been fantastic as well! Just got myself an MP100.

How are you liking the Deskmate?

Yeah, I'll be honest - I've haven't experienced customer service like this in over a decade! They're unbelievable!

I absolutely LOVE the Deskmate! I told a buddy the other day that if I hadn't jumped all the way into the M70, I would love to have had three Deskmates stacked up on this triangular stand that it's on. Give me about a year and I'll probably have just that anyhow! The only thing that I did outside of what comes with it was upgrade the return pump and changed the light. I only changed the light because of where it's sitting. I have another buddy who got one about a week after mine was setup, because he liked it so much! :)

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions about it.

Looking to get the M130 or M180 to replace my RS Reefer 300. So your saying their customer service is good to help if I have any question? I shouldn't worry. What are your experience like with them?

If you have ANY issues, it will be handled. I don't want to get incredibly specific about what they did for me - they'd have everybody and their brother asking for something similar. I'll just say that they were under absolutely no obligation to provide the level of support that they provided, AND it was at a loss on their side. I was completely blown away.
Then I ordered some extra part from them. I paid to have the components overnighted. The carrier screwed up the delivery and I reached out to attempt working with them to get some semblance of a refund through the carrier. No questions asked, they just refunded me the entire shipping cost.
They're unbelievable.
When I'm ready for an upgrade, It'll 100% be an Eshopps!

Here's my latest pic of the M70. I don't have the protein skimmer running. It was an old one that I owned before. I'm going to buy a Reef Octopus 110SSS. I also have a small refugium cage coming in the mail.
Current livestock:
Pair of Picasso Clowns
Diamond Spot Goby
Lawnmower Blenny
CUC
Unknown small zoa frag
