I have had this coral for 3 weeks and he has yet to open. Research says it could take a month to open. Any thoughts

How is the lighting and flow by it? Mine took about a month to finally open, but to keep them happy they need moderate/high light and moderate/high flow.

You can see I have him on the top plain and he's in a high current area aswell.

I’d just give it some time then - it should open soon. Try blowing it with a turkey baster to get some of the algae and stuff off.

My finger coral finally opened up right after I posted the first post. I guess all he wanted was a little attention
