If there is no coral i would also suggest removing that rock and toothbrush and peroxide scrub will take care of it...

I would say it is not diatoms but gha. Lowering light period could help but if the rock can be removed and scrubbed in seperate container bucket will help tremendously. Nitrates being at 0 is not good. How did you cycle the tank? How much are you feeding? What is the fish count in the tank?

Thanks alot will try taking out the rock and scrubbing but as far as lowering light couldn't my corals become even more stressed if I lower my light period i let it cycle for almost three month's before I cycled anything buy just adding fish food have three fish clownfish pair and 1 mandarin I feed once a day but have been over feeding due too 0 nitrates
