Tangs need a lot of swimming space, you could get away with a yellow, but blue tangs recommend 180 gallons+.
They are active powerful swimmers and need the space of 6' tanks really IMO.

I would stick to the bristletooth family. I have a Tomini in my standard 120 and it is fat and happy.

Tangs get big, and if you are going to keep them their whole life then wouldn't recommend you getting them. It would be like you confined to a 10x12 bedroom for the rest of your life. It would be cruel to the fish when they get bigger

My hippo tang is huge and he’s in a 220g and he’s only like 2 years old. I wouldn’t get one for a tank that size. They get big FAST so you would t enjoy it for long before re-homing. Plus- they are kind of a$$holes.
