I was trying to get a good pic of the goni as it was looking nice but I noticed white tips...normal?

Then I realized it was stretching towards Frank's leather and moved it...I think it's mad:

Goni was about to get nasty on the leather lol. Those white tips are it nematocysts. Goni can be viscous if it wants to lol.

That looks very similar to a weird gray sponge I pulled out of my micro tank. I vote sponge on the white stuff.

Huh, the strands look hollow in these pics! I guess it must be a sort of sponge. Looking at how it grows, I'll assume that's the case. If y'all have extra, I'll gladly take some off your hands!

You can come on by anytime and get what you want :)

Did you make it to page 10?? Shows the fish room, then jump to page 19 and 20 and I have water :)
Page 30 and 31 new coral in qt.. jump to 35, and from 37 on we have more new coral and some great pics.

Been a min since I updated my own thread.
lots going on in the Frag QT and everything else looks to be running ok at the moment.

Have some questions;

First; what the heck is this?? Sponge or Alga? Feels kinda solid compared to GHA.

Second; Have some sort of transparent bubble sitting right at the top of the skeleton of my Scoly.
Do I need to scrap it off or should I leave it alone? Not a great pic but its near the back of the frag qt and cant get in close enough for a better one.

White Thingy #2 has me debating myself. I really Really want to say it's pushing out another polyp. With all of the pics you posted, I'm zooming in and it both has Color and it looks to have a center area that resembles new/early shroom mouth when you cut them. I a very much want this to be correct.
