Happy New Year to you!!Happy New Year
My New Years resolution will be to get water in these tanks!!!!
I'm going to take vacation next week so i can work on it all week.
Prelude to 1 (I dont feel like changing the numbering )
Move some power outlets around before putting up green boardDONE
1) Put up green board and float the seamsDone (well haven't floated seems yet but its coming )
2) Paint the green board before moving stands in place
3) Finish stand while all the above is drying
4) Put away Christmas decorations somewhere in the middle of all that above
5) Run plumbing from DT's to basement
6) Put stands and sumps in place
7) Fill sumps so I can move the mixing station around (that sounds easy right ;Joyful)
9) Complete the drainage system to the outside so i can dump water when I need
10) Figure out and install a sink and work station
11) Complete the plumbing from mixing station to the sumps and sink
AND THEN MAYBE FILL SOME TANKS WITH SALTWATER!!!!!

I laughed for a min till I thought about the work to fix the darn thing, crazyI'm sorry ,i laughed at towel ring.."REALLY" c'mon.. tank looks great
Awesome Thx!hi,looks like sea lettuce to me??? not really a problem, imo
Ok this is not Reef related but had to show what I came across this weekend when trying to replace a towel holder in the bathroom.
We bought this house ah, 10 + yrs ago as a foreclosure. One of the towel holders in the master bath was always bothering me. It stood out a little on the wall and just looked like a mess. We've had a replacement for some time now but never was a real priority.
Decide this weekend to get it done. I was having issues getting the thing off the wall. Just wouldn't come off the bracket so had to pry, prod and finally just pull.
This is what I found: They (previous owners or subsequent contractor) decided not to fix a previous issue but use silicone to glue the thing back on the wall. i guess it wouldn't hold well enough so they added a few fitting to hold it in place and stuff that in the wall... Always amazes me the crazy stuff people do!!
I have several words for this type of work but as this is a Family friendly forum I must refrain
So mad at myself I cant stand it. Went to the store today during lunch and was feeling pressured to hurry. Left a bag at the store so had to run back, when I was leaving parking lot I was watching a mother and her child so I wouldn't hit them and I plowed straight back into a pole in my blind spot!!! Gawd I hate it!!!:mad::mad:
What a dummy!! 8600 miles on the truck and I do something dumb like this. What a day..
Amazing what just a split second of distraction can do!And this is why whenever I do a bathroom, The bottom 4 ft of the walls get 3/4" plywood recessed into the studs before drywall. And vanity/toilet walls get floor to ceiling plywood.
That is just brutal.
Well if it makes you feel any better I had my F-350 for about 3 weeks when I came too close to a drive-through window and scratched the $#!t out of my tow mirror. Cracked the turn signal lense on it so water got in. Lovely $1500 bill ;Shifty
