I will never touch the sand again but I have been blowing the rocks with a small power head and using magnum polisher with diotom powder. Wondering if I should skip blowing the rocks for a few days and try to keep the Dinos out of the new refugium or keep with my normal cleaning?

A year and a half update. Corals have been growing. No fish loss. I added sand back to DT. I’ve had a few Dino blooms. Haven’t seen a bloom in months but I know they are still around. I’m getting a new tank next week and will be transferring the sand after I rinse. I’m sure this will bring a Dino bloom and I’m thinking it’s time to get a real UV anyone have recommendations on the best UV? The new tank will be 150 gallons and 55 gallon sump.
