Dino wind down…. Ok, lots of great advice and processes described on how to irradicate various types of Dinos. I have run the course for SCA and can no longer spot them easily under microscope.

Is there a guideline on how long after dinos ”disappear” to return to normal? Stop dosing silicates, turn skimmer back up, turn on UV, ramp lights back up. Continue weekly dosing of MB7 and Eco-Balance? Obviously continue to monitor Nitrates and Phosphates to keep in the positive regions.

Any advice or guidelines on “getting back to Normal”, if there is such a thing?

It sounds like you have a good handle on it.

When I have had success with Dino it typically involves a multi-day blackout & UV, and then afterwards I will slowly ramp my lights back up to normal to give everything a chance to truly outcompete and rebalance.

If you see it re-emerge, even a little bit, I'd quickly go back to what worked for you and maybe do a longer blackout to truly stomp it out.
