So I've been battling this since I started the tank 2 years ago. I finally bought a microscope and after looking at all the usual suspects, I think it's dinoflagellates. If anyone can confirm my hunch, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I plan to manually remove (for the millionth time), do a 2-3 day dark period, and dose Micobacter 7. I'm currently running GFO and carbon, will that help or hurt (I stopped GFO/carbon for a few months and started again after this got way worse recently)? Any additional advice on what to do is very welcome!
