Disappearing Clownfish

So - I am stumped here - I have a 120 gallon tank with a sump and all - and I am stumped, I have had 2 different clown fish disappear with no where to be found scenario. I saw the clownfish in the morning - swimming about and all over place and it ate breakfast that morning. Then I come home that evening and it is no where to be found. I have looked all over the tank, in the rocks and everywhere but no where to be found. I am stumped. Right now all I have in my tank is a rainbow anemone and 3 corals. (Lost quite a bit in the Texas freeze) Thoughts? Feedback where it might be? I looked around teh aquarium to see if it might have jumped out - but nothing.

Had one visit the overflows regularly until I put a clear mesh screen over the sections of my tank! (can see how at BRS) They are good jumpers and hopefully they landed in the overflow ... and might have ended up in the sump ... and not on the floor! If they did hit the floor ... got any four legged pets ... they become a toy or snack! :oops:

I had a cat that usta tell me if a fish jumped out. It was real weird she would meow and stand next to it. Few times I’ve actually been able to save them pick up off floor and put back into tank. My new cats would just play with them on the floor like a toy.

Well went hunting for it - and no avail.. :( Chances are it might have jumped out and then the dogs probably made a snack out of it. :( Dang! I'm sad.

Sorry for your losses! Recently lost a checkered marbled wrasse with nothing. Not a hint of where he would be. I think maybe another fishes belly but who knows. Lol. Poor guy didnt have a sand bed to sleep in so stressed. Again sorry bout ur clowns!
