Hey! I am attempting to euro-brace my 40 breeder, as I got it used and the top trim was all cracked up and not pretty at all. I picked up some glass at Home Depot, but I wasn't able to find the thickness I wanted. From what I have heard, it is recommended to use the same thickness glass on the brace as what is on the tank itself. Unfortunately, the glass I was able to find is around half the thickness of the tank glass. Is this a huge problem? I can't seem to find thicker glass anywhere that isn't super expensive. The ideal situation would be that I could just use the glass I have, but if it's a bad idea please let me know!

Also, what type of bracing do you guys recommend? I've seen cross, euro, cross + euro, etc and I'm not sure what is the best choice. Cross is the easiest because I would only need one small piece, but again if that is not the best choice then just let me know!

Thanks in advance for any answers!
