I’m struggling to tune my 2” overflow with a ball valve, however I don’t have many alternative options. My tank is 150cm/60cm wide and 80cm depth. It’s almost impossible to find gate valves in South Africa. Shipping and import duties double the cost of the valve. I’m hoping someone has hand success turning their overflow using an alternative method.

would adding a 2nd ball inline be possible?
worth a shot if you cannot get gate,2"ball tough to tune... :)

You can do it. It just takes a little time and very small adjustments. As with everything else in this hobby just have a little patience and you'll get there. Good luck.
