I am going to be making a lywood stand out of 3/4 Oak and was wondering if I can make it with a strong wood glue and a nailsmall via a nail gun? I've seen them done with screws just haven't seen them with nails.

The stand I will be making will be 32x32x36 and the other will be 32x14x36

Yes you can. the glue does the actual bonding. nails and screws just hold it all together while the glue dries.
