Yeah, I can't image that mounting something that big would be easy. Maybe a super size container of super glue gel :) :)
Oh yea..:D

very nice. good luck with the placement of corals. :)

is that a BiColor anthias?
yup.. awesome fish, now that this tank is going I can get some more anthias...

Super glue gel, JB Waterweld, Super glue gel, repeat as necessary and then sit back and watch your skimmer go NUTS!
yup, it actually knocked my skimmer down, I'm just glad it didnt overflow...
Never used JB Waterweld, is it reef safe? I cant seem to find aquamend anymore..

Ha, if you want to get rid of colonies, you let me know :) I'm always on the lookout for large frags/colonies. ;) Why do you wanna get rid of them? I think they make a tank look established

the stress of being moved into a new system, thats my best guess, plus the both were in a high flow area of the vortechs but I doubt that was it cause there are many other corals in the same are doing fine....

Looks like there is still skin on them,is there a reason for not cutting the pieces above RTN line and try to save a few?

Sorry about your loss, I had the same thing happen to my ORA Tort when I moved it. I was only able to save one frag out of the 12" colony.

It sucks to lose stuff especially pieces that size. Your last tank looked amazing, I'm sure this one will too before long.

a few did have skin on them still but just on one side, If I was roll them over the other side is completely Bone white, I did save a bunch and glue them to a few plugs, but the RTN continues...

Wow I'd cry if I lost that many SPS >< hurts me to even lose a 1" frag.

How are the rest of your SPS doing for you in the tank?
