I am replacing my 55g tank with a 65b and adding a sump in the basement. I will be using a 100g rubbermaid for the sump I would like to use a rubbermaid tote for the skimmer to go in does anybody see this being a problem?

Just on the safe side I would also let them soak for a while so the plastic can leach out for awhile so whatever might be in the plastic comes out for the most part

I think I will not use the tote and just build a stand for the skimmer

Been awhile since last update had a few setbacks after my return pump fried and 40g sump with my skimmer and refugium cracked and leaked everywhere but now the tank is stable hope it stays that way
