Deltec SC 2060 has left the sump. The AC pump and was too noisy and also resonate too much. I bought a new skimmer Coral Box Cloud C9 from Fish-street. It's has adjustable Jebao 4000 dc pump and it's practically silence. Sweet...

New Skimmer works perfectly. It makes thick and dark slime and fill up the the cup really fast. it's almost silence. You can hear the air moving inside the skimmer. It whistles a little, but the noise is low and does not interfere at all.

I just started the biopellets and had a bacter fog. Water was like a milk and it last over a week. That took colors off the SPS corals. Hope that the reactor would help me get rid of the cyano and colors comes back. I might have to buy some chemical that will clean the sand.

Finally Jebao CP-40 arrived. It works perfectly. it has 4 different mode constant flow, wave, opposite flow and pulse mode. You can adjust the flow by pressing the button and change the length of the pulse. The video shows it running 100% power (40w). The flow is made by 2 tunze stream, CP-40 and closed loop.

I finally got two Jepao CP-40's and I have to say they are great. They're little noisy if you use 100% power, but they were so cheap comparing to maxpect gyre that I can live with that. It seems that lack of flow was the reason why there were cyano invasion on the sand.

Today morning. The lights are just starting up. I really need to get some colorful corals. I moved one CP-40 to back wall and turned it to vertical position. Now the flow is much better behind the rocks. All the cyano on the back wall are gone because the new flow pattern.

I started to dose a vodka in the system. I started 2 ml per day to aquarium, 500ml to me. That will do the trick. By doing that I want to get rid of the cyano. I hope the good bacteria eats all the nutrients that cyano needs. If that doesn't work, at least that 500 ml per day keeps me smiling

Love it! The giant colonies make the tank look very natural! Great work
