Do acros ever look good from side view?

They can look beautiful from the side, but honestly the top view is always the best view for just about any type of coral. Took this today with my cell phone and only blues on...

Have you all played around with nutrient levels to get richer coloration or is it mostly lighting driven? Finally is the juice worth the squeeze if you are running a mixed reef? Kind of feels like a lot of investment to tweak colors on acros. I think I would prefer nice base colors and good growth structure and keep it simple. If it’s a matter of just running higher lights I might be okay with it.

This is what I’m working with. The pocillopora below the purple stylo was pink but now the polyps are green, probably due to lower light. Birdsnest has no fluorescence. Perhaps the crown jewel is the ASD rainbow.

If your SPS don't look good on the side view you have crappy corals or not enough light coverage over the coral.

They need light hitting them from all angles.
