Do corals push rocks apart?

I was messing with my aquascape and I was just wondering do soft corals, anemones, or any type of coral wedge themselves into the crevices of rocks to hold themselves in place resulting in side pressure causing the rocks to be dislodged or move apart?

They may wedge, but they can’t move the rocks

Someone popped a seam from an encrusting coral if I remember correctly. Let me see if I can find it...

I wondered that myself. But corals seem to go the area of least resistance instead of a tree root that will upend a slab of concrete. But the idea crossed my mind too
