I'm going to add wet live rock, as fresh as I can get it, to a new 55 gallon tank. Assuming there is very little die off, do you think I should add more Coraline algae to the tank? Or will there be enough on the rocks?

Can’t really speculate on how much coralline is going to be on whatever rocks you’re going to buy. But no, you probably don’t need to add coralline. Chances are, if the rock isn’t already growing coralline or seeded with coralline spores, you will introduce various varieties over time inadvertently, from frag plugs and snail shells and things like that.
