I have a dog face puffer and I wanted to know if adding an anemone would be ok? I have a clarkii and tomato who are very aggressive hostesses. I had an anemone but I made big changes to the tank rocks and the anemone got really sad and shriveled and the puffer ate it.

but that anemone was not healthy. Do puffers do ok with anemones? I recently added this puffer and he’s been the center focus of the tank.

I would doubt it as anemone would literally get stuck to its face not to mention possible toxins that could be released
