Do snails breed in tanks

I just had Ike three of these go into my pumps do snails breed in your tank I’ve never seen these baby snails before

I think they try. Many white squiggles on the glass. Probably more success in the fuge.

Only if they have been properly wedded. They are very devout.

Yes. I forget what those little suckers are called ... but they look like mini-nassarius snails and don't go into the sand. I love 'em. In a healthy tank the breed quite a bit. And they're great little cleaners for the nooks and crannies in live rock.

Nerites have also been known to breed in tanks. And trochus. And I'm sure other types as well.

I posted about a month ago trochus breeding in my system!
Does suck when they go in the pumps!

I started with 3 stomatellas as hitchhikers and now have well over 500 which I have spread to all my tanks. I love the little guys! A++ snails do a great job and don’t get stuck upside down. Also I never have to order ‘restocking’ snails ever again!

I found a stomatella in my tank the other day. First one I'd seen in one of my tanks in 8 years. They are awesome and you can't buy them from what I've seen.

Absolutely! I had about 200 eggs in a 30 gallon a few months ago, or baby snails? Whatever they were, I have tons of snails now, the other eggs got eaten :p
