I know it used to be a pretty popular thing to feed romaine lettuce to tangs. Is this still a thing? Who does this today?

I went to Disney aulani resort in Hawaii where they have a massive fish pool That you can snorkel in. They fed lettuce and it peaked my interest. I assume Disney has some pretty experienced and smart marine biologists and fish keepers in that tank and that was a food of their choice

I have. make it romaine after you wash it AND . . . Freeze it first. Freezing separates the cellulose film leaving the soft tissue for consumption

My previous tank with tangs used to get romaine lettuce and loved it. I tried with my two tangs in my new tank they wont touch it. They are spoiled after eating dried seaweed sheets. I swear you would think they are sharks when you put it in
