My 80s undergravel salt and 90s canister salt both with dolomite. My African Cichlid tanks of the 80s too. Awesome stuff but probably voodoo today including the undergravel and canister :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Nektonics UGF were all the rage ...power plus 600 filter ..anybody remember that ?..aquaking , Blue/ green algae was the thing to get growing in your tank ...2 piston dynamaster to fire up that UGF ... Limewood airstones in HOB protein skimmers... I started keeping marine fish in 1975 .. pre - reef tank times

I've never seen 80 cent a gallon gas. It was about $1 a gallon when I was a kid, but that was on the east coast.

Try not to eat too many Big Macs, but I get your point.
