Congratulations. Hopefully you benefited financially from those inventions, not just your employer.

No direct benefit from sales. I would have done far better financially had I been an academic (potentially getting royalties) doing the same work, but I did fine. :)

I should be doing a water change next week. I know my water is discolored compared to new, to what extent not sure. Will do the bucket comparison and post. I have not run carbon in probably a couple of years, and it will be three weeks since my last water change.
Here are the results. I change 5 gallons of water, and this was half of it. The reason is I also siphon the sand, so this is just straight water out of the tank. @Miami Reef
