DOA Hydros Sole

So I overnighted 2 Sole units to do AWC. Was excited to get them going this weekend. Set one up no problem. Opened the other and it looked like it had been used. The RO fittings were off. The face was scuffed up. I installed it and it linked up but very slowly. I rebooted and got an “SD card failure” and “low voltage.” I swapped power supplies and no change. One worked and one didn’t. Opened it up and found a broken SD card holder. That can be worked around as I can just wedge the card inside the holder with a piece of shrink wrap.

But the true problem can’t be worked around without permission. A bad solder joint. @Connor At CoralVue

Can I heat this up and fix it? I submitted a ticket. I build electronics so it’s an easy enough fix to get me through the weekend.

Is the used one supposed to be new? I'd be sending it back, if I were you.
