Documenting RRC Rainbow Splice Growth Thread

[Epic Aquaculture]

I have had a great deal of interest in my RRC Rainbow Splice. This thread is to document the growth for my reference in the future.

Here it is the day I received it 5/25/2019

2 months later on 7/31/2019

I didn't take any pictures of it for a few months. Here is the next picture on 12/20/2019 after moving it to one of my growout tanks.

I then decided to do surgery on it a week and a half after the picture above. I cut off the 3 main growth tips and glued them next to the base to "redistribute" the colors and spur growth. This picture is one day after surgery 1/1/2020

This picture is from today 2 weeks post surgery. You can see the cuts have healed completely. The cool thing is that on the green side the new growth tip looks like it will be pink, and on the pink side it appears that the new growth tip will be green. What an amazing piece!

LOL, I like this thread, because I look at it everyday and you don't notice the growth, but then I see the monthly pictures and it's easy to see. Short month this time too!

Yes it's definitely bulking up! Lot's of new growth tips popping out too!
