Does anyone kno whatmy starfish is doing?

My starfish has started to do this alot anyone kno y?he usually goes up even higher!

The first thing that comes to mind is he is hunting for fish. They make a “cave” for the fish to swim into and then collapse down on them.
But I was thinking it was mostly the green brittle stars that did this. I may be wrong though.
How old is the tank?
