Hi all, my hammer coral seems to have changed alot since I first got it. It no longer really looks like a hammer!! Its always really over inflated with long stretched out polyps. It's in medium flow on the bottom of the tank under 2 hydra 26hds. I'll post a couple of pics one when I got it and one how it is now.

Appears to me that it isn't getting enough light. Puffed up should be fine, even good, but it looks like it's stretching for light.

Has it always been in that spot? Can you move it a little higher to test? How are other corals doing?

Other corals are fine LPS wise. I will try moving it up a bit and see what happens I'd like it more compact but obviously health is the main thing.

Thats a Frammer , so yeah it will start getting all flowy , its a frogspawn / hammer cross.
