Hi guys, I have got myself a LTA. I have gotten 2 nems before, a sebae and a GBTA. The sebae's foot was ripped off by the lfs worker when they were taking it out to package it, so it didnt make it through. The GBTA was doing good for a month then suddenly died. After a good amount of time, I decided to try again with nems. So I got this, what I think is a silver striped long tentacle anemone. Do you think it looks good/healthy? I just got it yesterday and I know the first week for nems is the most dangerous time. But what do you guys think? I just fed it yesterday.

Looks like it could use more flow, but is a beaut!
I know it is lacking flow. I placed it on the sandbed with low flow and it moved on its own to a place with almost no flow and wedged its foot at the part where the sand, rock and glass meets. Its tentacles doesnt even move. So, every time I see some poop or dirt on it, I just blast it off using a turkey baster.

I tried to feed it yesterday and it simply wouldnt eat. I tried to feed when the lights were on and when they were off. The nem would simply grab it and after a few mins, it would let go of the food. I feed it frozed prawn that had been thawed and chopped into small pieces.

Edit: Could it be full or picky? The lfs fed it mysis shrimp if I am not mistaken

You don’t really need to feed these guys. Often times they won’t eat readily either

THanks for the new info. I thought all nems need to ne fed quite often. I just worried it might snack on my shrimps.
As long as you have a strong enough light, most photosynthetic anemone will do just fine on just light and random food pieces that float into it
