Does someone have a name for this???

I know it’s in the torch family but no one seems to know what it is. It’s gold with I believe is a little purple & then a teal like color on the tips. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Either a branching hammer or a euphyllia cristata torch. I am leaning towards the latter of the two.

It looks like Euphyllia glabrescens, the regular torch species. Euphyllia cristata is still in the family Euphylliidae, and does have shorter tentacles but I don't believe they're this color. How long have you had this? Perhaps it's just not extended yet

I actually just got it today, so yes it’s possible it hadn’t fully extended yet. Here’s a photo I found on line that looks most like it to my eye.

Did you buy it as E. cristata or as a regular Torch? That could be it, but if not it will likely extend more as it acclimates to your system.

They weren’t sure what it was called but said it was some sort of torch.

100% a crostata.
they stay that small, and don’t puff out.
they are basically mini torch’s
