Does the Griessingei Goby Sift Sand????

If anyone has any experience could you let me know if the goby sifts sand. Because I don't want anything messing up my sand. Hopefully, this guy doesn't because I am looking to get one. Thanks

They’re highly reclusive, so you will rarely see it and it will mostly hide in the rocks hunting for pods. If you want a goby that’s out and not always hiding then almost any other goby will work.
