I moved it from my main tank to my seahorse tank and it seemed to be doing well for a couple of months but the polyps hardly come out and the heads have shrunk in diameter and gone a darker shade. Does anybody know why?

toadstool are weird. Very hardy corals, but when moved or something changes, they can either act like nothing happened, or close up for an extended time. Still looks healthy to me. Maybe its about to shed. They will close up, get really shiny and then shed an outer layer of tissue every once and a while too.

@reef lover is right in that they do like higher flow and light, contrary to popular belief.
