I have a coral beauty who has a white spot, and I’m trying to keep myself from panicing. It went thru a 2.5 week copper quarantine (I realize that’s a little short). Three days after moving it to the DT, a white spot formed on the tip of its second dorsal ray. It was uneven and looked more like lymphocystis than crypto/ich. It was gone 5-6 days later with a small scar left behind. Now today, 3 days after it fell off, another spot appeared less than a millimeter away from the original. It’s farther down the second dorsal ray but still on the fin. It is acting very health, no scratching and eating like a pig.
My question is, can lympho cysts reform a few days later. I know this question is hard to answer but I hate to think of getting crypto in my 1.5 month old tank.
Thanks in advance.
