I really like my aquascape, but in such a small tank, do wish I hadn’t chosen the giant archway. It really limits floorspace.

I am good with my aquascape. I only took me a few hours to put together as my only thought was to make some caves and not just have a wall of rock. I like that the fish ended up with plenty of hiding places. Next time I do a tank I believe I will be spending a lot of time on the aquascape. I want to consider coral placement more on the next tank.

I selected 6 because I like what I did with the material I had, but that's about it. There are tons of nooks and crannies in and out of sight that the chromies, blenny, crabs, 6 line, and shrimp use regularly - so I'm glad I managed that much. After learning about and feeling comfortable with drilling, shattering chunks, as well as learning of different brand offerings I certainly would have done things differently. Neither here nor there. I'll continue learning lessons and hopefully, it will be useful the next time around.

I have found aquascaping a nano the hardest. Found my old larger tank much easier. Been contemplating breaking down and starting again for ages. Though I like how it looks from the side.

Awesome aquascapes are like a hobby within a hobby! Fine tuning the negative space, minimal rock structure or underwater volcano look is part of the fun of owning a saltwater reef tank. Oh and at times part of the frustration! We even have a forum dedicated just for it! For many the saltwater aquarium is like a living piece of art for their home and having the perfect aquascape is very important. But today is not about how to achieve it, it's more about sharing and inspiring! So let's talk about it and share!

1. Are you proud of how your aquascape looks and how happy are you with it?

2. How long did it take you to get your aquascape just right?

SHARE A PHOTO OF YOUR AQUASCAPE OR ONE OF YOUR MOST FAVORITES!

I wish I didn’t start with as much rock. I got the live rock for free with the tank purchase so felt obligated to use all of it.

Similar situation here. I got 60 lbs for $120 and felt like I had to use it.... i just pulled 3 smaller pieces out and its sitting in a bucket not knowing what I'll do with it. I've got way too much in mine for what limited livestock is in there. Also inherited some of that grass looking algae that will forever doom me I suppose.
