I know what you mean, it's the evo 13 yeah. I have 1 aswel. I did all dry rock which I regret but I had time to make the scape how I wanted.I really like my aquascape, but in such a small tank, do wish I hadn’t chosen the giant archway. It really limits floorspace.
I myself am semi happy with my scape. I know I have a lot to improve on it. I can see what I want in my mind, just its difficult to physically make it with my own hands.Awesome aquascapes are like a hobby within a hobby! Fine tuning the negative space, minimal rock structure or underwater volcano look is part of the fun of owning a saltwater reef tank. Oh and at times part of the frustration! We even have a forum dedicated just for it! For many the saltwater aquarium is like a living piece of art for their home and having the perfect aquascape is very important. But today is not about how to achieve it, it's more about sharing and inspiring! So let's talk about it and share!
1. Are you proud of how your aquascape looks and how happy are you with it?
2. How long did it take you to get your aquascape just right?
SHARE A PHOTO OF YOUR AQUASCAPE OR ONE OF YOUR MOST FAVORITES!

Nice scape! Yeah I was limited to what live rock the store had at the time, and back then thought that bigger was better for my selections, though that’s not always the case....I know what you mean, it's the evo 13 yeah. That's how I felt with mine. I liked it until it came to not knowing where to put my corals...I liked mine until I started thinking about coral placement. I think the fish really like it (they all seem to enjoy the big cave) and I find it fairly pleasing to look at but I'm not sure how I'm going to avoid all sorts of shading problems and I don't feel like I have enough places to accommodate a range of coral requirements. I wish I'd maybe made a second large cave coming off the large structure and connecting to the 3rd island. The fish would have enjoyed a second cave and I would have had a lot more area for corals.
I like it and don't like it.
I really admire the lighter looking structures that people are building. I think if I started again I would have used more shelf rock instead of so many big heavy pieces.

Yeah I thought that in the beginning. This tank was the first tank I've used dry rock only in, I did this so I could smash the rocks up (real reef rock) and reassemble it in the shape I wanted. I just wish I had added some proper live rocks in the beginning.Nice scape! I think it looks really nice.I would change mine , I had to arrange in emergency with cloudy sand due to livestock death in a tub during move. So basically did this blind lol but rocks are too big for much change , not the best but I’m happy with it
Thanks man, they say you are never really finished anyway hahaI think it looks really nice.
