My dog face puffer has a raised white spot on his back. Anyone have any idea what this could be and how to treat it? It's been on there for about 2 days.

Very unlikely to be any sort of a parasite. Tough to see clearly, but it looks like a minor injury. What other fish are in with it?

If it doesn't grow larger, and/or if there are no secondary symptoms (not eating well, breathing fast, scratching, etc.) there isn't really anything to treat for.

Okay, thank you. I will just keep an eye on it. He lives with two other puffers and a fox face and a snowflake eel never noticed any aggression with anyone.

It would just have been a single nip, over in a split second, little chance of seeing it happen. Snowflakes are known to do this, but they usually bite the inquisitive puffer on the snout. Either of the two other puffers could have done this as well.

Just got an updated photo. It kind of does look like a knip
