Came across a Japanese Acan frag that has been floating around my local boards since 1996. Its nice to have a piece of history.

Sweet! I have seen some SICK japanese lords, but they are always very pricey.

Mike- Put it this way. Top Aussie Lords will fetch the same price as the uglist (if their is such a thing) Japanese Lord, or commonly sold as Non-Indo Lords.

If japanese acans were legal to collect then I bet they would be in the same class as indo acans. Way too much hype around them.

I still can't get over the pink/green one that is $600 a polyp with waiting list. Can't recall the vendor. It's actually a color I'd be dumb enough to pay that for if I was having a bad enough day. :)

I think your talking about the one on captivereef.com It is the sweetest acan I think I have ever seen. I just don't know about $600 per polyp!!
