Im gonna wake up and feed the fish same as always in less God has other plans for me that day. As a Christian I don't care what a old calender says is gonna happen. If its Gods will that the end come that day somehow so be it, I'm going home to Him and get to see friends and family I dearly miss. If its not His will that I get called home that day then I will continue to live for Him and keep on reefing. Which reminds me I need to go get some fish food in the next few days or im gonna be out

Sorry, just saying that a person stating thier religious belief shouldn't feel like they will be ridiculed. I personally feel the ridicule of religion is often accompanied by 'scientific fact'. I understand what a measurement is, along with persicion and accurancy and how that relates to scientific findings.. but thanks :} I was by no means down playing the importance of science, just stating that what is 'fact' today might not be tomorrow.

If all the Christians are going to heaven....what about everyone else??? Are Buddhists sinners? What about the non-terrorists from the middle east? I personally know a very good man who is muslim and he doesnt seem like he deserves hell for anything he does.

The one thing I find insane is how many versions of the bible there are in comparison to the Koran. I am a christian, which is how I know there are so many bibles, but my friend at the convenient store always brings up points on the subject. MY answer to why there are so many bibles was because we hhave short attention spans....he said its because we are full of crap lol.

There is endless proof to the validity of the Bible. Hundreds of fulfilled prophecies, including the coming of Jesus Christ (Micah 5:2,Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6,Proverbs 30:4, & Isaiah 53, to name just a few of many for the sake of brevity.) As for many different versions of the Bible, it comes as no surprise that some people would eventually twist the Word to fit the mold of what they want it to say. There was a warning given about this in Revelation 22:18-20. As for the original topic of Doomsday, thats a harsh word. Judgement Day is more accurate, everyone has a choice, and it has nothing to do with the Mayans(Matthew 24:36). But the rebirth of Israel in 1948(against all odds, surrounded by 300 million arabs) was also prophesied about, and also as a sign of the beginning of the end. I personally think its close, and my corals are free to whoever locates my stash after the rapture of the church takes place.

Why is it that every time someone brings up doomsday Christians bring up rapture and the endless array of resurrection beliefs? Unless this thread was intended as a Christian doomsday theology course...which to me begs the question, would people be offended if everytime there was a thread on Easter I mention the parallels to pagan religions and the Spring festivities of Wicca?

That dont change the fact that we live in a fishtank poop in it like we some dumb animals, we almost ate all the fish in the ocean all the animals are dieing out we going tru some serious weather changes its been so hot ice caps melted and fish cooked in some lakes this is the time to pay attention to the mega volcano a major earth quake will set it off if we continue chasing gold at all cause the future dont look as bright as it used to.

Lol no I don't simply because tv will have u belive that on Sep 11 planes got high jacked with knifes and then took down buildings that were build to get hit by planes ,also the air in nyc was safe to breath kids went to school like next door because it was safe and now everyone is getting sick , so yeah the government got the tv working hard and when things get bad I'm sure they will call you and tell you what to do :)
Pointless fact #534: In Japan they have the gravesite of Jesus Christ. I have seen it as a kid when my dad was in the Airforce. If you make it to the East, check it out...It's a cool spot even if they are crazy.

The Television is an irresponsible load of cheese and burnt biscuit crumbs. I can pick any channel whether it is news, cartoons, or educational...Everything is full of human skimmate. Al Gore exaggerated an environmental slightness when all of our a/c's were breaking down and were in very grumpy moods. He took advantage of us. Similar Climate shifts happened during the middle ages as well and the only pollution they had back then was fire from woods or oils at best...They didnt have cars, or anything that pumped out crud like we do now.
What does not make sense is how many people there are. We spend a lot of time eliminating pests or overpopulated animals, but our own race of hairless apes is quite abundant...of course that will pollute the globe. A very good way to estimate our intelligence is by comparing the level of humor on SNL. In the earlier episodes up to the late 90s there was mainly cast lineups of people who became annoyingly rockstar famous and had careers their full capable lives...where as now the casts have been a bit flaky and the humor is more childish. With the exception of> Watch Saturday Night Live: Mokiki online | Free | Hulu <they have not really made me cry in laughter for a while. The writers of SNL know exactly how the majority of people with tvs think is funny. Intelligence and humor generally go hand in hand.
I am starting to believe the end of the world will just be when we become so brain dead that we stop eating...
I was at walmart and they were packed to the brim. There were 25 registers and 2 of them were open. THere was a self check out as well, 8 actually. so we are producing more people and making less places for them to stand and receive money. I did use it though...i was in a hurry. When I used it I saw an option to order things from there website from the screen....now I am really ticked. Whoever started the whole money thing...this is stupid. Really stupid. Our entire world is based on money that is pretty much a theoretical room full of gold....that most humans never see...its just there. We all are trying to own some of this gold we cannot see. WE owe a bunch of it to every other country in the world and its making people go nuts trying to make it, keep it, and multiply it. Cats dont do that crap. they eat and they sleep...along with every other creature on the planet. I am not saying to go live in the wild. I am saying this whole money thing makes no sense. We are going to starve to death of poorness if we dont die of stupidity.
I really doubt it, but Godzilla could also become a reality given the right conditions. I am sure we have the means to kill it, but it would eat all our food by the time we got to him...thus starving us.
Living amongst the endless corn fields I also notice problems. Under ground is a very scary world. Not like middle earth crap but underground rivers that are gigantic can erode the earth beneath you and suck you right in. I dont know where they go, but its not an ideal circumstance for a person. There is not a huge variety of environments a naked or scantily clad human can live. My dog has more luck surviving than I do in the heat and the cold. In fact, malamutes can withstand -70 degree weather if they are in a pack. Timber Wolves are even more tough...my dog is half of both, so he is definitely going to be by my side what ever happens lol.
Just get dogs, laminated edible Berry/plant Charts, a bunch of flints, and store a ton of RO filters and Carbon. YOu WILL BE THIRSTY. IF the water company goes out there could be a toxic melt down into the water supply. It is best to monitor the wildlife around areas such as this. I puked after one bite of local Bass...It tasted like a penny. Our world seems to be already dying and everyone is just used to it...if I cant eat the fish now, later I will starve to death.
I am more worried about food than anything. we will die without food. water is in some food...but I will try to include that into my concerns as the time gets closer.

IMHO, humans have been predicting and waiting for the end of the world since the beginning of it (at least as far as humans are concerned). I think the end of the world is each persons death, and it is out of a kind of selfishness that we fantasize the end of times, as it means we don't go into death by ourselves. I think that is even what the bible meant by "a thief in the night".
Each person's death is indeed the end of the world to them. The "world" so to speak is merely the conceptualization of you, your surroundings, and your life experiences. If a person dies, that collection of conceptualizations is lost; short of any writings, artistry, and teachings that person has left behind, even those are left to the interpretations of those reading, viewing, and learning from them. So again, my opinion, the end of the world is a selfish thought that somehow one wouldn't have to face the end alone (regardless of what you believe happens after death).

i googled the subject and i found the world was suppose to end 274 time so i think its all bs . i belive the world will end when are sun explodes in a few billion years
