Hello everyone. I am relatively new to the hobby and have a question about feeding my fish. I am currently feeding my 3 banggai cardinals and 2 ocellaris clowns pellets, but want to start feeding brine or mysis shrimp. Now maybe i'm just being to lazy, but I've heard of people 'dosing shrimp'. So basically I am wondering if i can put live brine in a dosing container and set a timer to once or twice a day dose food. Any thoughts? It seems pretty ingenious to me, but am I missing something?

Its possible but I do not think it would be efficient. For example, say you have your live brine in a container with some sort of dosing mechanism into that container. If you dose "x" amount of seconds, you may only get a few brine at a time and other times you may get more.

It doesn't sound efficient to me.

I guess that would make sense. I might try a cheep setup just to see, but your right I probably will get different amounts of food each time.

Best bet would to breed your brine in a 2 liter bottle or in a small 5g tank. Then just add a good amount during feeding time(s).
