Dosing Microvore to Feed Anthias While on Vacation

Has anyone here tried dosing Brightwell Aquatics Microvore to feed Anthias? I will be on vacation for one week this summer and I am wondering if this would be a good option to supplement feedings my tank will get from my tank sitter. I can't have someone feeding my Anthias 2-3 times per day like I do when I am at home. Any other ideas?

I just exchanged emails with Brightwell and they actually recommended Zoooplanktos Large, Reef Blizzard or Macrovore. Has anyone tried any of these? I think I will buy a bottle and give it a try. Thanks.

Never tried it, but it's an intriguing idea for anthias. Let us know how it goes.

I wanted to give this thread a bump to see how it turned out or if anyone else has tried it. I'm thinking of trying it myself. I'm curious what the consistency of the product is and if it needs to be stirred prior to dosing.

At the local public Aquarium, they've got a 3,000 gallon tank with Anthias and Chromis - the fellow set up a dripper above the tank to add brine shrimp nauplii all day long. (Side effect - the Chromis hang out in a bunch below the surface - all day long - and the Anthias hang out just below and behind them.)

No doubt feeding throughout the day works great, but I'm specifically interested in Macrovore because it doesn't need to be refrigerated and doesn't require raising brine. Ideally I would use my dosing pump to dose macrovore directly into my return pump.

I would think it would need to be stirred prior to dosing, but I wonder if having a bubbler going in the bottle would help.

I would be interested in learning more about this as well. Neat idea for species that require multiple daily feedings.

I have no idea about the product, but... I was away for 16 days this summer and my bartletts (3x) and my borb (1x) along with every other fish in that tank and my other tank did fine on a single feeding every 2 or 3 days.
