Im dosing reef code a and b. I have finish calculations of what i should dose each day. The marine depot calculator say to dose 14 ml of alk a day and 18 ml of cal a day. Is this fine because i have heard that they have to be equal amounts

In a perfect world, your salt would have a perfect balance b/t the two. Also, in this perfect world, they both would be used up in the exact same ratio.

This isn't a perfect world, so dosing different amounts ends up happening often. Of course check from time to time to see if you have to adjust.

So it is okay to dose different amounts even if it says to dose the same

Yeah, will be fine, as long as it gets you ( and allows you to maintain) the levels you want.
