hi i have a 400 gallon tank i sent my water to triton icp and the test shows i have low iodine and low strontium. so i purchase today seachem reef strontium and i thought i bought iodine but got reef iodide instead. im not sure if its the same can someone help me with the amounts i need to does using the calculator i think im wrong my strontium level is 5.435 and supose to be in 8-12 range so if i wanted 10 for the middle in need to dose 730 ml that might be right, but the iodine is 18 µg/l and needs to be 30 to 90 µg/l so seachem says i need 2400ml just to get it to min 30 µg/l do these numbers sound right?

heres my test results https://www.triton-lab.de/en/showroom/icp-oes/125183

Your test results sound like many others, including mine. I would not worry about the low values of these 2. This is common and many tanks do just fine with what they say is a low number.
Having said that; iodide is a less toxic form of iodine.
In my 600 gallon tank I dose 20 ml iodide 2 times a month. My shrimp molt on a regular basis so having low levels seems just fine to me
