So my new tank is in transit and should be here in a few days. Looking at my current tank, it is pretty well established, live rock and has a lot of coralline, etc... I am really kind of cringing at the thought of starting over from the beginning again. New sand, clean tank, diatoms, testing, dosing. Ugh.

What or how is the best way to do this transfer?

Just one of those things...

When I started my last tank, I pretty much started fresh. The few fish I had went into quarantine while the tank was cycling. I also had the rock seeding for months before the tank came.
