Petco just announced that they will be shutting down the Dr. Foster and Smith website. Petco bought out DFS not that long ago, and have now decided to close the doors to their facility, and lay-off 279 employees. This won’t effect live aquaria, but DFS will be gone in the next 120 days.

Maybe this is why Petco had that huge sale on Tropic marin salt? Maybe they are getting a jumpstart on clearing out the DFS facility.

Wow, that’s sad for their employees!

Wow........ Just .... Wow.....

Guess if you buy the competition... And then close their doors, you have less competition...

Don’t say that too loud! Amazon or Walmart will buy BRS! Lol

So... I checked the DFS website. Pretty much everything on sale. From 40-75% off...
Some prices are better than others, but worth a look

Seen this Coming long ago.. I have been in the petco store here . Its not going to stay in business long.

It really is.
Nearly 300 people suddenly looking for a job in a town as small as Rhinelander wi.... no bueno. There aren't many jobs up there.

That being said, I sure hope I can still drive up there to get my DD orders ;)
