I just wanted to express that I am very happy with the fish I received from Dr. Reef. About 2 weeks ago, I received a Yellow head Jawfish and Royal Gramma. The order was placed approximately 5 weeks ago, took about 3 weeks for them to complete my order once initially placed. Both fish looked okay out of the bags I honestly thought 1 or both of them wouldn't make it the gramma was a bit dazed and limp and the jawfish just looked ticked. I acclimated both per Dr Reef instructions and placed the fish into my observation tank. My plan was to keep both in the observation/quarantine for one week unmedicated to observe and hopefully get both of them feeding well. The gramma started eating on the second day and the jawfish by the third. After 6 days in observation I decided both fish seemed healthy enough (disease free & eating) to place in my display tank. Upon acclimating both from the observation tank to the display tank the gramma was literally thrashing the container I was acclimating them in, this was impressive as he was literally moving the container. My thought was this is one healthy albeit ticked off fish. They have both been in my display tank for 6 days and I am continually impressed by how robust and beautiful both these fish are and most importantly disease free. I had attempted to do a full 30 day medicated quarantine of a jawfish prior to this and couldn't get him through alive which is why I looked for a quarantine vendor. I will say I said some not nice things about Dr. Reef if you look in my comment history but some of the replies to those comments made me start to think that my thoughts were wrong and I figured I would order from him myself and see. Well, I was wrong and I am grateful to have these beautiful fish.
